Albanian is an exciting language. It is the official language in Kosovo and Albania. Many people in the Balkan region comprehend it and use it to communicate. When compared to other Indo-European languages, Albanian is pretty isolated. Its history and how it evolved is also not clear, rendering it a bit confusing to learners.
A few dialects of this language exist, but the two major ones are Gheg and Tosk. Residents of southern Albania mainly use the latter. Still, the former is more prevalent among those living in the country's northern parts. Standardized Albanian now has its own alphabet.
