The players win the game based on the cards they draw. Two cards are drawn, and the number cards are counted based on their face value; image cards do not have value. The sum of the cards is used to define the winner.
The spectators win their bets based on which player wins, or whether the game ends in a draw. There are thus three outcomes the spectators can bet on, and each has a different payout and probability. Betting on each player, the spectators can approximately double their bet, whereas betting on a draw can eight-fold the bet, or in some casinos pay out even better.
