Located in the central part of Europe and known as one of the countries in this continent that have pretty lenient laws, Slovakia is known for many things. This country is one of the newest/youngest in the world due to the fact that it separated from Czechoslovakia in 1993. Not only that, but Slovakia is home to some spectacular mountains, Europe's most beautiful towns are located here, and it has 6 world heritage sites.
The economy is booming, which is why it is often referred to as the Tatra Tiger. During the 2000s and 2010s, the GDP of Slovakia was among the highest in Europe and the world as it reached a rate of over 10% in 2007. Furthermore, its capital is the largest financial centre in Slovakia and the unemployment rate is less than 6% in this region.
